Bringing a new concept in play and learning to Saudi Arabia, our goal was to create a colourful, flexible space where children could actively construct their own learning.

Ta'if Children’s Discovery Center

n to Ta’if, Saudi Arabia, the Ta’if Rose Children’s Discovery Center will be a landmark destination for cultural enrichment and educational entertainment. Designed by Aquamarine, the 5,750 m2 facility with additional outdoor areas combines imaginative play, interactive learning, and cultural discovery in one vibrant setting. It is envisioned as a place where children can explore freely, develop critical thinking skills, and build a deeper connection to their heritage and environment. @img1 m The center will feature a wide variety of immersive zones, from water play and construction workshops to imaginariums and cultural exhibits, each crafted to spark creativity and a love of learning. A highlight of the design is the rainforest treetop walkway, where elevated paths overlook an aquarium beneath, blending natural wonder with aquatic exploration. Interactive discovery areas will cover science, arts, language, and environmental education, while a dedicated theater and stage provide space for performances, workshops, and community events that encourage artistic expression and cultural appreciation. @img2 m Special attention has also been given to comfort and accessibility. Underground parking and a private reception area for women ensure convenience, while an expansive outdoor playground offers children a safe and dynamic space for climbing, exploring, and active play in nature. By combining education, entertainment, and cultural programming, the Ta’if Rose Children’s Discovery Center is set to redefine family-oriented attractions in Saudi Arabia, creating a dynamic hub where future generations can learn, play, and connect with the world around them.
