Vietnam’s first major public aquarium, Vinpearl Underwater World, set a new national standard for entertainment.

Vinpearl Land Nha Trang is a tourist destination located on Hon Tre island in Nha Trang Bay, and includes a 5-star resort, world-class amusement park, shopping street, food courts, and luxury restaurants. Looking to add a new attraction and seeing the opportunity for something that was previously only experienced by those travelling abroad, Vinpearl Underwater World was conceived.

Covering 4,500 square meters, Vinpearl Underwater World is split over two levels and four different climatic zones, each representing and containing a specific climate – Northern Asian, Southern Asian, Amazon, and Coastal.

A total of 22 exhibits and a 75-meter-long underground tunnel with panoramic views offers a fully immersive experience where guests can experience the over 300 species that are housed there.

As Vietnam’s first major commercial public aquarium, this was an exciting milestone for the Aquarium community and citizens of Vietnam too. It paved the way for other aquarium projects to begin in the nation, such as the Times City Vinpearl Aquarium.
