The EMAAR Aquarium and Underwater Zoo in Istanbul, developed by Aquamarine following the success of its Dubai counterpart, is one of Turkey’s premier marine attractions. Located within the EMAAR Square Mall, this expansive facility spans 6,250 square meters across three levels and was designed to integrate seamlessly with the mall’s wider leisure and retail experiences. At the heart of the aquarium is a breathtaking 60-meter tunnel, immersing visitors in a panoramic journey through marine environments. The facility features 38 exhibits arranged across seven thematic zones that transport guests from rocky shores and lush rainforests to the depths of the ocean. Home to more than 20,000 animals representing over 200 species, the collection highlights both global biodiversity and regionally significant aquatic life.
